From the towers and terraces, enjoy exceptional panoramas of the lake and surrounding Alps.
After lunch, visit the historic winery Domaine du Daley. Located in the heart of Lavaux’s terraced vineyards, the estate was founded in 1392 and is considered Switzerland’s oldest commercial entity. Overlooking the lake, the vineyard is cultivated using an artisanal, terroir-driven approach to produce authentic wines of remarkable finesse.
During the visit, you will discover the cellars and the estate’s history before tasting three wines from their finest crus, accompanied by a local charcuterie board. After this gourmet interlude, transfer to Vevey, where your first cycling stage along the lake begins the following day.

Approaching Gruyères, pastures open onto a medieval setting dominated by Gruyères Castle. After exploring, enjoy a gourmet break featuring the region’s famous double-cream meringues before a peaceful evening in the village.

The route gradually climbs through classic Alpine scenery: flower-filled chalets, artisan workshops, and mountain dairies punctuate your progress. In the Pays-d’Enhaut, mountain traditions remain vibrant. Stop in Saanen to observe wooden architecture and local producers before reaching Gstaad, an elegant resort where preserved nature and warm hospitality invite relaxation.

The descent toward the Simme Valley offers a fluid and varied stage through meadows, forests, and villages adorned with carved façades. Flowing waters accompany your ride to Spiez, set on the shores of Lake Thun. The castle, terraced vineyards, and turquoise shores create an ideal setting for a swim or a sunset drink.

The day begins with a boat crossing to Interlaken. Continue along Lake Brienz, renowned for its emerald waters, before reaching Meiringen. A train helps you cross the Brünig Pass effortlessly, after which the descent reveals peaceful landscapes of Obwalden. A detour to the Giessbach Falls adds a spectacular highlight before arrival at the lake.

The highlight of the day is the spectacular descent aboard the world’s steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) to Alpnachstad, followed by a scenic public boat cruise of about one hour on Lake Lucerne, offering landscapes from a new perspective. The excursion ends at Lucerne harbor.
