Understanding how our bike tours work

Our trips are designed as self-guided tours, meaning you cycle at your own pace, without a guide, following a detailed roadbook, a GPS application, or the maps we provide. We take care of organizing the accommodation, luggage transfers, bike rental, and technical assistance.

It depends on the route. On average, you’ll cycle between 18 and 37 miles (30–60 km) per day. Some “easy pace” trips feature under 18 miles per day, while more athletic tours can exceed 43 miles (70 km).

Not at all! Our tours are suitable for all levels, including beginners. Each itinerary clearly indicates the difficulty level, elevation, and daily distance. You choose based on your comfort and preferences. That said, being able to ride a bike is essential.

Our tours are available from March through October, depending on the destination. You’re free to choose your travel dates. For popular routes, we recommend booking several months in advance.

We offer routes across France (Loire Valley, Burgundy, Dordogne, Alsace…) and abroad in Switzerland. Explore our online catalog for the full selection!

The earlier the better, especially from May to September. Many accommodations fill up months in advance, particularly on weekends and during school holidays.

Cycling is an outdoor adventure and that includes the weather! Our routes remain doable even in the rain. We recommend packing waterproof clothing just in case.
