Your bike trip in Switzerland takes on a southern flair as the Rhône Valley opens up and the sun warms the rocky slopes. You leave the high mountains behind for the terraced vineyards of Valais, where every village lives by the rhythm of wine.

Between Leuk and Sierre, the cycling route leaves the main road and takes you through the vines. Stop for a wine tasting and enjoy a glass of Fendant, Dôle, or Cornalin before continuing toward Sion, surrounded by medieval castles and golden light. As the valley widens, the Dents-du-Midi mountains rise majestically ahead. Arrive in Martigny, a town rich in art and history.
